Medusa is a very similar set to Mother's
Sorrow in The Elder Scrolls Online.
Medusa is one of the most popular Magicka
DPS sets because it gives you Spell Critical and Minor Force. It allows for
more flexibility when you are making a build. If you are new to the game and
want to get this powerful set, you are in the right place. In this guide, BulletHound
and Fantasy
New show you how to get the Medusa set.

Where To Find the Medusa Set
The Medusa set is available as a drop in the Arx
Corinium Dungeon. In the normal version of the Arx Corinium Dungeon, you can
get a piece with blue quality, but the drop rate of a purple piece is very low.
In the veteran mode, you will obtain a purple piece. If you only need the
weapon, I recommend running the normal mode because it’s much easier. If you
need the jewelry, you have to run the veteran mode.
Medusa Set
Drop Rates
Dungeon bosses and mini-bosses are guaranteed to drop
one of the pieces when defeated. The mini-bosses will drop a hand, waist, or
feet set piece. The Dungeon bosses will drop either a chest, shoulder, head, or
leg set piece. There are six bosses in Arx Corinium, giving you plenty of
opportunities to obtain a missing piece in the set.
The final boss of the dungeon, Sellistrix the Lamina
Queen, will drop weapons or jewelry.
The normal mode dungeon bosses will drop blue-quality
items, and the veteran mode dungeon bosses will drop purple-quality items.
If you are a solo player, it will be hard to get the
gear, so it will be easier to run the dungeon with friends or a group. If you
are a Tank or Healer, it will be much easier to find a group.
Treasure Chests in Arx Corinium also have a slight chance to drop armor, and Fantasy New's
video shows you the Treasure Chest locations in Arx Corinium. However, the
amount of Chests you can find per run has been reduced to two since the
Blackwood patch. Therefore, I recommend running the veteran mode if you're
farming the Chests only because veteran Chests are of higher quality, and the
chances of getting set pieces are higher.

Medusa Set Stats and Usage
The set's bonuses boost your Spell Critical. Its fifth
piece bonus adds more spell critical and grants you Minor Force, at all times,
increasing your Critical Damage by 10%. With Medusa, you do not have to use
skills like Trap Beast or Accelerate to get the Minor Force buff, allowing you
to slot in another ability that does more damage.
Since this is a Heavy Armor Set, Magicka users need to
use its weapons and jewels or a combination of two body pieces and jewels to
use it effectively.
That is how to get the Medusa set in The Elder Scrolls
Online. If you found these videos helpful, don't forget to subscribe to BulletHound's
