Level 50

Once we reach level 50, there's actually a whole lot more things that open up to us when it comes down to daily activities and some grindable stuff. Firstly, when it comes down to roulettes, we now have a much bigger variety of what we can do. Leveling roulette will still stay there, and it's always going to be the best source of experience. Whereas we now also have a couple of other ones that are definitely worth doing. So we have a leveling roulette, we also have Alliance roulette, which will put you in a random 24 man raid and we also have the MSQ roulette. Now these three are the ones that are worth the experience and your time.

When it comes down to MSQ roulette, it will take you a very long time and it’s pretty boring. But if you want to do this, when it comes down to time investment compares the experience gained, this is incredibly good.

Of course when going into Heaven’s Ward at this point, we also have hunts that become really good to do. You can pick up 3 different handbills every single day and this will give you a decent amount of experience and some hunting currency which you can spend on some other rewards, a gear glamour, for instance. They don't take that much time either. So if you have flying unlocked in all of the zones, then they are definitely worth doing. Heaven’s Ward also have two Beast Tribes that you can use to level as well because they scale down to the level that you are at that moment.

Level 61-70

Once we get into level 61 to 70, things change a little bit. So when it comes to our roulettes, we still have the same things available to us. It's just that level 50 roulette now changes into level 50-60 roulette. Hunts are still there as well, so you can still do your daily hunts. And it is also still worth to do the Heaven’s Ward hunts as long as you are level 60. As you're still level 60 and try to get to 61, you can still do the old Heaven’s Ward hunts as well because they will still give you a decent amount of experience for that. But once you reach level 61, you don't want to do those anymore, for you will want to do Stormblood. At level 60, I believe you also get access to the Stormblood Beast Tribes as you can start doing those as well when it comes down to your dailies. When it comes down to spamming, some stuff change here. We still have a dungeon spam as always, but Palace of the Dead is not available anymore. That is going to be replaced by Heaven-on-High, which is the new deep dungeon that was launched in Stormblood.

Level 71-80

Now moving onto Shadowbringers, a lot of things will change here actually. So first of all, we of course still have exactly the same rule as available as before. This time we only have one Beast Tribes available to us, so only 3 Beast Tribes Quests that we can do to go from 71 to 80. Now to replace the deep dungeon, we now have Fades that are worth a whole lot more. Not necessarily when it comes down to the experience that they give, but what it comes down to what else they give, which is the Fate currency. Because we have the shared Fate system in Shadowbringers, which makes it so that you unlock different items in the Fate store and then you can of course spend the currency that you get from doing the Fades. And in that Fade stores, you can buy certain items like minions, housing items and some other items that you might need for crafting. So Fates become worth doing as well. Of course we still have the dungeon spam as well, so when it comes down to leveling your Shadowbringers, it's a little bit different than the rest, for you don't have the deep dungeon that you can do, and you also don't have the 2 Beast Tribes. You only have the one. But then on the other hand, we do have the Fates that we can spam instead of the deep dungeon and then of course we still have the dungeons to run as well.

That is all for today. In addition, we provide FFXIV Power Leveling service. As you all know, power leveling is hard work and can take days or weeks to achieve your goal. If you do not want to waste time on the boring work, MmoGah will do it for you at a reasonable price. This way you can enjoy your life and enjoy your game once we have completed your order.

How to Level Alts in FFXIV (Section 1)

As we all know, Final Fantasy XIV is very unique in the fact that you can level all of your different jobs or classes. And as you are playing your first job throughout the game, you have the main scenario quest and your side quest to help you level. But once you go into some alt jobs that you want to level, you don't have access to those quests anymore, because they have already been completed now. Luckily, there are a lot of different things that you can do when it comes down to daily quests that you do once every day as well as when you just want to level a little bit quicker outside of just doing your dailies.

The video below is from Ilya Dalamiq, in which he shares his ways of leveling alts. The whole guide will be split into two sections. In today’s section, we will talk about leveling from level 1 to level 40. In next section, we will share tips of leveling from level 50--80. Level 1--Level 15

When you're level 1, the first thing that you can do is start with your hunting log, which is only available for those low level jobs. I don't think anything that came with the expansions has a hunting log available to itself and it also expands itself only from level 1 to 50. So once you pause that level 50 mark, there are no new hunt marks for you to go kill. These things don't give a crazy amount of XP when it comes down to going through the higher levels. But when you are just starting as a level 1 character or level 1 class, then the hunting log actually gives you a pretty decent amount of experience that can jump-start you to 5 or 6 levels.

And there is no real daily thing that you can do yet when you are just starting out your first dailies. What you can do is hunting some random monsters and doing that hunting log, maybe completing some side quests or doing some low-level fates until you get to that level 16.

To help you get to level 16, there is one thing you can do, which is incredibly good for experience and this works all the way up to level 60 even. That is Palace of the Dead, which is the first deep dungeon that was introduced in Heaven's Ward and this gives you some really good experience and it also doesn't have the drawbacks of a normal dungeon. Comparing to Palace of the Dead, a normal dungeon is usually going to be faster when leveling if it is run with a good group of four people that has gear for a specific dungeon that they're doing. Whereas, if you don't want to invest gear every ten levels, for example, and if you don't want to queue for them, Palace of the Dead is going to be straight-up better. Because even though the run might take longer than usual dungeons, you will get a faster queue time and you will also get a decent amount of experience for it, so basically Palace of the Dead until level 60 is usually the way to go.

Level 16

Level 16 is where you unlock your first roulette and your roulettes are basically your dailies that you want to be doing. Leveling roulette will basically put you into a random leveling dungeon, which means a dungeon that goes from 1 to 49, 51 to 59 and so on. Once you finish the dungeon, you will get a big chunk of experience.

Level 40

Once you reach around level 40, you're also going to be able to do Beast Tribe Quests, which you can do 12 per day and of course you can only do 3 of them per Beast Tribe. Each Beast Tribe also has a specific leveling system itself.

Basically those are the things that you can do from level 1 to 50. For the most part, it's just going to be your daily leveling roulette, your Beast Tribe, and then Palace of the Dead.

But once you reach level 50, there are actually a whole lot more things that open up to us when it comes down to daily activities, which I will share in the next article. Please stay tuned. If the content above helps you, don’t forget to leave a like, and I will see you guys next time!

FFXIV Beginners Guide in 2020

Final Fantasy XIV is getting on in age, but as it grows older, it becomes a more refined and popular game. FFXIV can be also overwhelming for beginners to play. Here's our guide of tips and tricks to help with jobs, leveling, and more. For more FFXIV guides, make sure to visit us---MmoGah, at which you can also buy FFXIV Gil with cheap price and fast delivery.

Servers

Be mindful when picking a server as they are grouped into data centers. There's no interaction between servers on different data centers. So if you're looking to play with your friends, make sure you're in the same grouping.

Jobs

Classes in Final Fantasy 14 are called jobs and can be confusing at first so let's break it down. These are your beginning jobs that you will pick from when you make a character. They each advance into their endgame form at level 30 and we'll get more abilities. Here's what each job turns into once you get there.

  • Marauder---Warrior
  • Gladiator---Paladin
  • Lancer---Dragoon
  • Pugilist---Monk
  • Rogue---Ninja
  • Archer---Bard
  • Thaumaturge---Black Mage
  • Arcanists---summoner and Scholar
  • Conjurer---White Mage

What's cool is that one character can freely switch between all jobs in the game, that is to say, jobs are defined by their soul item and the weapon you're using, so once you switch to the correct gear set, you will become of that job. So you don't have to make any alt characters to play in Final Fantasy 14. These next jobs are unlocked later in the game and cannot be selected at the character creation, so you have to select something else if you're looking to play any of these jobs. DRK, AST and MCH are unlocked and start at level 30, so you can switch to these jobs without starting over at level 1 to get to level 30. Unlock these jobs, you'll still be level 30. RDM and SAM start at level 50. GNB and DNC are the latest additions to the game and they start at level 50.

Leveling

Hunting Logs

Early leveling consists of completing hunting logs, which are challenges that give you XP for completing them. Any monster that completes a hunting log for you will have this icon next to them, so be sure to hunt these down.

image

Dungeons

You will unlock dungeons at level 15 and after this point, dungeons become a viable way of leveling. It's also worth to do it once you have dungeons available in your duty menu, as they give you huge rewards each day.

image

And you can also buy food, items in town, they give you a small experience boost.

Quests

The biggest hurdle you need to overcome when you're first starting out in FFXIV is completing the main story quests line for the game. Each expansion has one and you will be gated from content until you finish them all. So your big goal is to get through the main story quests which will always be appeared in the top left corner of your screen.

image

Luckily you only need to do this once per character and doing so will give you enough XP to reach max level on one job. If you're extra lazy and have the dough, you can purchase level boost from the MOG station that will level one job and complete all the main story quests up to that level for you.

Now your primary mode of transport across Final Fantasy 14 will be the Aetheryte Crystals and the Ethernet. They're basically teleport locations and can be used freely. You must grab the Aetheryte Crystals as you travel about the world before you can teleport to them, but then you'll have them forever. And within major cities, the Ethernet is comprised of small Aetheryte Crystals. Jump around to in the city and this is helpful, because in most main cities you cannot get on your mount.

Your current main scenario quests will be in the top left corner of your screen. If you have an available quest for your current job, it will appear just below that. We can select these to bring up the map and teleport to where you need to go with ease. For the proudly lazy folks, there is a button in your character screen to automatically equip the best possible gear you have in your armory inventory and you can use this until you get higher levels.

You have two inventories in this game, your normal inventory and your armory chests, which will contain all your gear that's available for swapping and your regular inventories for other items. To repair your gear when you're traveling about, look for the hammer icon on your map indicating that an arms mender is located there.
