WoW Classic Naxxramas Mage Farming Guide

Welcome to our gold farming guide for Mage, where you can learn the best ways to farm wow classic gold with a Mage in WoW Classic. This video is from Damnboi, in which he shares some ways of farming gold (Mage farm DUO/TRIO/QUARTRO) in WoW Classic Naxxramas. All the content is quoted from his video.

In this video, I will show you how to DUO/TRIO/QUARTRO farm Naxxramas trash as a team of Mages. You don't have to reset and will never be locked, so you can farm it as much as you want.

We're going to show the differences between them, and tell you how fast it is. We're going to look at the evade spots that are very important, especially when you get started and reset the mobs. Of course, we are going to look at the loot table, how just this pull works.

image

Loot Table

Let’s get into it. You are going to kill nine goals, infectious goals and they have a 100 chance to drop a scrap, so you can get all four scraps and get one from each goal. The ones that are hardest to come, and the side is the war torn chain scrap, then the leather one, cloth and plate drop pretty regularly, they have a higher chance drop on top of that word of thawing.

These are used to get frozen runes inside knacks, they have around 11 chance drop, so you get approximately one, every clear you do nine mobs. On top of that which is not included in the classic wow gold power, you can get trashy picks and get a pair of male shoulders, plate shoulders, cloth chest, best and slot warrior chest that is actually leather male belt, plate belt, male legs and plate legs. This matrix I actually had one of these dropped yesterday in a seven hour session, sticking ball buckler as well, harbinger of doom.

This is second beast for dagger rogues in off hand and a really great weapon for warriors and great maze for pvp rogues as well. The items you want to sell here is misplaced server on, I would say you could sell it from anywhere between 3k and 6k gold, harbinger of doom same applies 3-6k vanilla wow gold. Misplayed server arm is the most rare of the two, so I would sell this for more ring of the thing on the flame. I think mages will form this themselves, otherwise you could sell them for probably around 2-3k goldYou do not get saved when you're doing these runs, because you actually don't reset instance. If you reset the instance, it doesn't matter you only get saved. if you loot, you can use a word of throwing to get frozen runes.

Evade/reset spots

If you kill a boss or you're selling the epic, the person who wants to buy it has to be inside the instance all the time. Of course he does not have to log out or anything. Anyway for the evade spots, these are very practical when you get started, you're going to probably use them a couple times in the start at least. If you do the pulls wrong or something like that, but this is the first spot you basically. Just run over here to the spider wing, jump up on this ledge, stand here and wait till you're out of combat. Sometimes if the mobs are very close to you, it might take quite a while to reset, so I would go to the second of eight spot. If you're further away from the mobs, go over here, stand and wait. I did experience sometimes when the mobs were very close that you had to wait a couple of minutes  before they left combat. Do remember though the people who wants to buy the apex has to be inside the instance, they can be 100 FK, because you're not going to be resetting, you're just going to be waiting the slimes, and then the goals will actually respawn, so that is very simple.

The Pull

As for the pull, the way it works is you only need a lip for every clear, so that is around 4-5 gold I need on servers, so it costs around 2-3 gold depending on how many mages you're doing this with per clear pretty damn awesome. You do not need a center speed potion, and you only need to bring a little bit of focus and there you have some easy gold, so the pull works like this: you have three packs, one on the left, one on the right and one straight ahead, and you should mark all the slimes, so you can keep a track of where they are.

DUO

You're going to do a blizzard here for 2-3 seconds on the first pack, then you're gonna blink right away and you're gonna body pool or fire blast. The right pack you are gonna it's kinda spelled back in the front, and then you're gonna lip when they get close to you, and then you do an over and you actually would the preferred way to do.

Anyway this is the two man farm basically. Both of the mages are gonna be spamming blizzard, the one who's kiting in this case. I'm gonna be spamming max rank blizzard, and anyway goes, so you can keep them aligned, the other mate is just going to be spamming rank 1. Of course you're doing max rank blizzard whenever he gets a clear cast, but as you can see I'm spamming max rank as much as possible. Here an important thing is when the tick of your improved blizzard is on the mobs and it gets lower than two to three seconds. If the other mate is not doing it, as you can see we're running at the same time. It is not a great idea what you should be doing is your one major casting blizzard, the other one runs this guy starts casting blizzard, and then the other one runs. You should note on the two-man pull, and if you want to use your invocation, you can kill them faster. The two-man pull takes around 20 minutes.

TRIO

When you go to three man mage pool, you will still have one guy kiting. But if you have the marauder dagger which most people have, it will only takes 50 kills approximately to get. It is 2% drop chance from the princess in rod, you will be having one mage spamming arcane explosion. With the talent, you have reduced arcane damage threat by 40. As for the frost, you have 30 reduced on frost spells, so you will not be getting angry very fast.

I start spamming some rank 1 arcane explosions, and I'm getting mana back 300. The spell only costs 75 man as far as recalls, you're actually getting mana back this way and you do a lot of damage as well, but of course when you get a clear cast, you can use your max rank arcane explosion and you can actually spam max rank arcane explosion. You just got to be wary if you get threat always have your eyes on the threat meter. When you're doing this pull and doing arcane explosions as for dying and stuff as long as you don't get too close to the goals, and you don't have threat out and aggro on them, you can't really get one shot by them, but if you stand on top of them, they will hit you no matter what the slimes. On the other hand, they actually change aggro.

If you get really close to slime, it's going to start targeting you, but I haven't really figured that part out yet, but anyway you can see in the three man pool, the slimes are converging now, you gotta watch out. Don't get hit by the slimes, make sure to mark them, and when the slimes are converging, make sure to have one guy slowing the goals. If they run free, they will catch up you quickly and they will kill you.

Quatro

Let’s move on to the four man pool. As for the four man pool, the pool initial is the same. By the way the gargoyle as you can see flying there, actually resets when he gets out here, so don't worry about that one. When you do the poll, you have to focus and wait for him to run out of line sight. When you're doing the first blizzard with four mages, the kill time is 7-9 minutes. When we do four mages, we always have 1mage -2 dying a couple of times because they get too eager to kill them faster. What you're gonna be doing here is the exact same as the three-man pool, but you will have two mages.

One thing to remember is that you are more dependent on the other mages, since if they slack it's gonna take longer time and you're gonna get less loot or you're gonna clear it slower. As you can see the slimes are converging, just always have a mage slowing the goal. That is pretty much the four-man pool or the three-man pool is the ones. As you can see here, I'm actually just sitting there vaping chilling getting very good gold. Last night I was doing this, I actually got around six to seven hundred gold an hour by doing this.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnbati8TwrE

30 seconds boss guide for each boss in Naxxramas for Classic Wow.

Anub’Rekhan

A new break-in tank the boss here facing away from the raid range and healers spread out around the boss. off tank the ads. The ads cleave and a main priority to nuke down as spawn periodically throughout the fight when the ants spawn they also come with a load of scarabs.

If you die, you will spawn more scarabs. Kill them when the boss casts locus, swarm your tank needs to kite the boss around the room. The tank can avoid getting hit by the boss by using either a swiftness potion or having a hunter use aspect of the pack and running with them.

Grand Widow Faerlina

First they randomly charge in silence around them, so maybe kite them out of the group. If you can’t kill them fast enough, leave the other ads alive. Now the boss does a reign of fire ability, move out of that also a poison volley, and you can cleanse this, the boss will enrage every one minute, you need a priest to mind control one of the worshippers and cast the silence on the boss, it will dispel the enrage, kill the ad rinse and repeat kill that boss.

Maexxna

Tank this boss in the middle of the room facing away from everybody else, have two off tanks pick up all the small spiders in the room.

Throughout the fight, they tend to spawn on opposite sides of the room, group them up and aoe them down, and then the boss will web wrap three people which knocks you back to the edge of the room and cocoons, you have a group of ranged assigned to attack these webs to get people out every 40 seconds, the boss will cast web spray, which will stun everyone in the raid for 8 seconds, you should pre-hop the tank and maybe pop some cooldowns too. If you need dispel poisons, you can use nature resist pots or gear if you suck kill it.

Noth The Plaguebringer

The main mechanic of this fight is all about decursing curse of the plaguebringer which it left too long will wipe the raid. You can tank this boss wherever he'll cast a blink which will slow everyone around him and drop aggro. Dps should hold off attacking him until the main tank gains aggro back. The blink usually coincides with add spawning off tanks pick them up and dps should swap to them and nuke them down. After 90 seconds, the boss will teleport away and you'll have to kill all the adds, the boss will stay here until the ads are dead or until 90 seconds has passed, this will happen two more times 110 seconds after it reappears, and again three minutes after the second time he reappears.

Heigan the Unclean

Heigan the dirty. Get ready to kick people from your guild because this is without doubt the easiest boss in the game, ever the boss has a mana burn aura around him, so healers in range stand on the boss podium, whilst your melee and the tank boss on the lower ground. Tank him here to begin with the main mechanic will begin shortly, the room is split into four parts in which sludge will come out of the ground in three quarters of the room. Avoid this, the sludge will move across the room from left to right and back repeating until the second phase, also the boss will teleport people outside the room run back before phase two begins. The second phase is simply the same eruption mechanic just a bit quicker and the boss teleports to the podiums. Now the melee can laugh at the massively inferior ranged and healers fail at this mechanic, repeat kill the boss.

Loatheb

This boss is a big dps race spores will spawn throughout the fight. When they die we'll give five people around them a 50 increased critical strike bonus and no threat gain. Don't let this hit your tanks, and you need to make sure everyone gets this buff asap starting with your biggest pumpers. The main mechanic of this fight is corrupted mind which gives a one minute cooldown on healing spells, and you need to prioritize these heels to keep the tank up which means that dps should try and use health potions bandages & health stones to heal themselves. Judgment of light or poison cleansing totem can help alleviate. Some of the damage goes out after two minutes, the boss will begin casting inevitable doom every 30 seconds, this deals a lot of damage after five minutes, and he cast this every 15 seconds,  so hurry up and kill that boss.

Patchwork

This fight has pretty much one tactic which is hateful strike, and this deals a lot of damage to a person in melee range that both has the most health and is within the top four of threat, this won't hit your main tank. It is a good idea to have at least four tanks to be able to soak, these heads heal up the off tanks asap, and they can continue soaking the hateful strikes at 5%, the boss will enrage, so maybe hold cooldowns for that, otherwise he will enrage at seven minutes. Get ready to make quick work of patchwork.

Grobbulus

Pull this boss to the edge of the room, he drops a poison cloud on his location which expands over time, so you want to slowly kite him around the entire edge of the room. The whole time make sure the main tank is the only one in front of the boss as he casts slime spray which spawns a slime for every target that is hit nuke these down, you'll randomly inject players with mutating injection, the debuff lasts for 10 seconds and when it expires, it deals aoe damage and drops a poison cloud. Make sure to run away from the group when you get this and drop the poison cloud in a suitable location, so you're not going to mess up the tank route 30 seconds, he injects players more frequently, so kill the boss before you run out of room.

Gluth

Tank this big boss faces in the door, the boss casts a 10 healing reduction every now, and then swap it four to five stacks, the boss will also fear everyone within 20 yards every 20 seconds, so each boss fears ward the tanks or prepares to die. Hunters need to track shot the enrage every 10 seconds, zomboys will spawn near the great at the back of the room, you need to have dps aggro and kite these, but keep them as far back as possible. Try to avoid getting hit by them slows and novas are very epic, every 105 seconds the boss will cast decimate, and they will begin walking to the boss to kill them all, so you should kill them before they reach the boss, otherwise they heal the boss after the third decimate, the boss will permanently enrage, so kill it quickly.

Thaddius

For the first phase, you need to split your raid into two groups. Kill them both within a few seconds of each other. Jump over this ledge and kick anyone that doesn't make it. First try two raid wide debuffs will appear on you, this is the polarity mechanic and you will be assigned charge of positive or negative split the room into two sides with negative on the left and positive on the right. Tank the boss in the center of the platform if you're stacked with the wrong polarity, you will cause and take damage from everyone around you if you're in the correct polarity, you'll get a big dps buff every 30 seconds, your polarity might change, so pay attention that you have five seconds to get to the right side before the effect begins to kill that boss.

Instructor Razuvious

For this boss you'll need at least two priests and four tanks. You should begin this fight with the priest mind controlling an ad and taunting the boss. Your tank should be assigned to pick up and add each tank, the boss allows you to easily line his disrupting shout, which can cast every 25 seconds. The main tactic is to keep subsequent mind controls on the ads to keep the boss tanked when a mind control is almost finished, the other pre should begin mind controlling another ad to taunt the boss, when the mind control is finished have your specified tank for that ad. Ready to pick it up, the ad should be healed whilst they're mind controlled as the boss hits way too hard for players to tank. Repeat this process until the boss dies.

GothChick the Harvester

GothChick splits the raid into two groups with equal tanks and healers. One side is melee, the other is ranged. Range goes on the live side merely on the dead side, range will want to prioritize unrelenting riders, then death knights and then trainees. When you kill a mob on the live side, it will respawn on the dead side for melee to kill the boss.

The Four Horsemen

For this fight you'll want at least 8 tanks and 12 healers. Each boss puts a unique stacking. For a while your job is to not go over three stacks. There is a safe spot in the middle of the room, you will be assigned to a group and rotate into attack the boss until you have three stacks, then you go back to the safe zone.

That deals a lot of damage, so prepare to heal the tank, so zeliok does a chaining holy raf that deals increased damage. More people stands at max range and spread out by at least 5 yards to avoid this melee shouldn't attack this boss, your dps will be killing thane and mograine. First once they are dead, you will join the tanks & healers on the other side of the room and assist in killing them.

Sapphiron

This boss does a lot of frost damage, so you want to have resistance gear and potions while on the ground, you will need to avoid blizzards and decurse life drain on players when the boss flies up into the air, it will ice block five targets. The ice block also does aoe damage when it casts, so spread out if you can kill the boss. All you need to do is hide behind one of the five ice blocks. Now you just rinse and repeat until this boss is dead.

Kel'Thuzad

Pick up the abominations which deal a stacking mortal wound on the tank. Melee should nuke this down rain and kill the soul weavers as they'll knock people back when they get in melee range. The range will also need to kill the soldiers of the frozen waste as soon as possible, as they deal aoe damage on the entire raid when they hit someone.

Keep on interrupting and spreading, and you can kill this boss.

Pipe Boss & Slim Gauntlet and Shoutouts

This is one of the trickier bosses in knacks that you will encounter, however with good preparation you can avoid this raid. Your character is directly above the pipe and walk in the direction that the pipe travels. After some time walking, you will spot a large opening through try to avoid jumping off the pipe as this will cause you to no longer walk along the pipe, this is a boss you'll face just after patchwork.

For this boss, I suggest you turning the game settings right down to boost maximum frame rate.

WoW Classic Naxxramas Guide: Dungeon Dives Part One

Naxxramas will be released on Dec 3, 2020. Players need to wait until the release of Phase 6 to get attuned for Naxxramas, but you can do a few things in advance to prepare.

Naxxramas is the most challenging, and arguably the most fun, 40-man raid encounter in all of classic wow. It is the last raid in WoW classic filled with dangerous bosses and amazing loot. Let’s learn how to navigate this raid in this last episode of Dungeon Dives. This is a real player Platinum WoW’s guide. Today MmoGah.com will share the four dungeons/quarters first, which can be helpful for wow classic fans. All the content of this article is quoted from his video.

image

Welcome to the last episode of dungeon dives for classic. This is going to be the biggest one yet since we have 15 bosses to go over, so let’s get started and jump into the raid.

Attunement/Gear

Let’s talk about the Attunement in order to enter the floating acropolis of naxxramas, you’ll need to be at least honored with the argent dawn but if you’re revered or exalted that’s even better. If you’re honored, you’ll need to pay the argent on 60 wow classic gold, one Righteous Orb, two Nexus Crystals and five Arcane Crystals. If you’re revered, you’ll only need to pay 30 classic wow gold, one Nexus Crystal, and two Arcane Crystals. If you’re exalted, it’s free but you can say it’s pretty expensive, so just spend some time running scholomance or something to increase your rep within naxxramas. There’s also the coveted Tier 3.

Tier 3 is an amazing set for most classes and also looks incredibly badass. The only problem is that is very expensive. In order to get a piece of tear, you’ll need the token that drops from one of the bosses, and you’ll need war-torn scraps which drop from trash within the raid, and you’ll also need a ton of profession materials. If you know anything about classic wow, these professional materials can cost a very pretty penny, so start saving up now.

Atiesh

Atiesh is the legendary staff that becomes available in knacks in the raid. One of your raiders will need to collect 40 splinters which dropped from bosses, you also need to kill c'thun and kel'thuzad to get the other items. One of your raiders will be that one super badass guy in your raid that has this extremely rare staff once held by the legendary mage medivh.

Atiesh Greatstaff of the guardian is a unique and powerful artifact passed down from guardian to apprentice for generations. Pay attention to that druid holding another one or that priest or khadgar. In fact never pay attention to khadgar.

Naxxramas is split into Five different quarters. There are the Arachnid Quarter, Plague Quarter, Military Quarter, Construct Quarters and the Frostwyrm Lair where you’ll face the final two bosses. We’ll start from the easiest to the hardest, so first let’s enter the Spider Quarter.

Spider Quarter

For this quarter it’s pretty self-explanatory and it is the spider big well, then you should probably kill that one. First hold left and you’ll face the first boss of this quarter Anub’Rekhan. Welcome to my partner Anub’Rekhan’s fight starts with two guards at his side. These ads have a stacking poison that they apply on tanks they cleave and they root nearby players. These will need to be tanked away from the boss and be focused down first upon death, they will summon 10 corp scarabs that need to be aoed down additionally. If any member of your raid dies, they will also spawn 5 corp scarabs while killing the adds have the boss positioned where he started the boss will cast an ability called impale, this will send a line of spikes towards a random target deal damage, knock them up in the air, and you need to use slow fall levitate or even login fogger elixir to avoid the subsequent fall damage.

This boss’s most dangerous ability is locust swarm. This is a channeled ability that does aoe damage silences and stacks and has a 30 yard range when this ability is casted. All melee need to run out as quickly as possible including the tank, so run it makes the blood pump faster, the tank will need to kill the boss while this ability is being channeled. While the boss does move slower during this time, it will help the tank to have a swiftness potion or have a hunter in their party with aspect of the pact additionally when locust swarm is casted. There will be another crypt guard for the rest of the raid to kill. During this time, all of this boss should be dead backtrack to go through the door in the middle of the room, a hug to the left wall and you’ll find the next boss of this quarter Grand WidowFaerlina. The greatest glory is to die in the master’s service, Faerlina is surrounded by six ads around her, and you’ll need to kill the followers at the start of the fight but do not kill the worshippers who will need to be tanked away from the boss and kept alive. This is because Faerlina will enrage once every minute and the only way to dispel this enrage is to have one of the priests in your raid mind control one of the worshippers and use their ability that dispels the boss, this will also kill that worshipper, so this fight is sort of a race against time to kill the boss before you run out of worshippers to dispel her in rage.

Plague Quarter

Now we can go to the Plague Quarter. Stoneskin gargoyles are going to be the most annoying trash. You deal with in this quarter at 30%, they will turn the stone and you have six seconds to kill them or they’ll heal to full health just make sure you’re focusing them down one at a time. After dealing with the gargoyles, you’ll face noth the plague bringer glory to the master. During this whole fight skeletons will spawn every 30 seconds or from three corners around the room, you’ll need tanks to sit here and tank these mobs when they spawn and your raid will need to kill them, meanwhile the boss will be tanked around the center of the room, and he will cast a curse that needs to be dispelled as soon as possible.

There’s also bats frenzy that charge and stun random players in your raid. There’s grubs that do a bunch of aoe nature damage and plague beasts that deal aoe damage to anybody in melee range just hug the right side of the wall and push forward, and you should be fine. After running through the gauntlet, you’ll immediately start the next fight, Heigan the Unclean is a special boss because he is famous known for his mechanic named the safety dance. This room is split into four different sections and only one section is safe to stand in and the pattern starts from the right moves to the left, and then back again during phase one. Your melee will need to be almost constantly moving as you only have eight seconds to move between each area. It’s also very important that the boss is tanked far away from the casters who stand on the platform to the side, because if the boss gets too close to them, their mana will be drained, a disease will also be placed on melee that needs to be cleansed as well during this phase of the fight, and three random players will be teleported to the tunnel.

For another four dungeons/quartes, we will share them next week, so pay attention to our mmogah news to learn more tips or guides. Of course, if you want to buy wow classic gold or ask for wow classic power leveling, don’t hesitate to contact us.
