The Interpretation for Blizzard Official Announcement about WoW Burning Crusade Classic Details

 Good News!

Blizzard has officially announced World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Classic details on BlizzCon 2021, including its features, some changes, PVP and Faction balance, Blood Elf and Draenei Access, Content Phases, Characters transfer, Level boost service, etc.

image

MmoGah, as a professional WoW Classic gold seller, we've been following-up reports on WoW Classic TBC's latest dynamic state. Here we would like to share our opinion about WoW TBC Classic details. Some content of this article is quoted from the official WoW site.

Content Phases

Blizzard has set up a potential plan for additional content releases for Burning Crusade Classic to occur over 5 phases to allow players to stay on top of the latest content and gear up with their friends.

Phase 1:  Karazhan, Gruul's Lair, and Magtheridon's Lair Raids will open
Phase 2: Serpentshrine Cavern, Tempest Keep, and Arena Season 1
Phase 3: Hyjal, Black Temple, Arena Season 2
Phase 4: Zul'Aman and Arena Season 3
Phase 5: The Sunwell and Arena Season 4

I have to say that the content phases are more reasonable than they leaked before. Each stage of the replica will open as a phase so that T4 and T5 will not open together. Otherwise, no player will visit T4.

Make a choice of which game type you’d like to play your characters

With the Burning Crusade Classic pre-expansion patch release, players will present with a choice for each of their existing WoW Classic characters to progress to the Burning Crusade or to continue adventuring in the original WoW Classic content on an all-new "Classic Era" server.

Once the pre-expansion patch has gone live, players will see a choice of Burning Crusade Classic or WoW Classic within the Battle.net desktop app.

1.    Burning Crusade Classic realms will contain all the new Burning Crusade game systems, including the Blood Elf and Draenei Races which will become available with the pre-expansion patch release.

2.    WoW Classic will direct players to the new Classic Era realms, which will have the latest phase of WoW Classic content in it and will not progress into any WoW expansion content.

3.    Players who want to experience both worlds will have the option to unlock both "clones" of each WoW Classic character as an optional paid service, allowing each hero to venture forth into Burning Crusade Classic while their Classic Era characters continue the original adventure.

It means that you have a few options for which game type you’d like to play your characters.

1.    If you choose to play Burning Crusade Classic, your existing WoW Classic characters will advance to the Burning Crusade Classic Progression Realms.

2.    If you decide to continue playing WoW Classic, you’ll be able to play on Classic Era Realms

3.    Clone your characters for a fee so that you can experience both worlds.

Boost your characters to Level 58

For those who haven't had the opportunity to play through WoW Classic or who are Burning Crusade fans looking to experience Outland right away, Blizzard will also offer a way to boost to level 58.

The boost will be limited to one per account, won't be usable on Classic Era realms, the new Blood Elf, and Draenei Races. Boosted characters will be equipped with some basic dungeon blues, the level-40 mount skill, and one mount. Freshly boosted characters will not include any professions, while existing WoW Classic characters will retain their chosen professions.

In my opinion, it is a fast way to level your characters as rapidly as possible with the least amount of playtime, and it does not require endless hours of grinding.

If you want to boost your characters from level 58 to the desired level, you can ask for wow classic power leveling service from a third party.

Catch the opportunity to move your existing characters for free

Before Burning Crusade Classic launches, you will have the opportunity to move your existing characters to an Era realm for free.

In my opinion, once the pre-expansion patch has gone live, you can move your existing characters to other realms within wow classic realms for free, but you should move them before TBC launches. For example, you can move your existing character from Anathema to Deviate Delight for free. It is a good thing, so don’t miss this chance.

The Realm names will remain the same on Burning Crusade Classic and Classic Era realms

Existing wow classic realms will patch with the new Burning Crusade Classic content. If you choose to experience all of the new content, everything for your character remains the same, including your realm, guild, and more, but you'll have access to the Burning Crusade Classic and all the updates.

If you choose to have a character remain in WoW Classic, it will be available to play on a new Classic Era realm. Friends from your original realm who also choose to play on the Classic Era realm will join you on the same realm. Your friends' list will continue to be available no matter where you end up. The Realm names will remain the same for both Burning Crusade Classic and Classic Era realms.

I guess the realms will probably be added along with the Burning Crusade Classic updates.

Burning Crusade Classic release date

Most players want to know when Burning Crusade Classic will launch. This year, 2021. We’ll be holding a beta test before long, where players will be able to head back to Outland and provide feedback on how they feel. We want to make sure that we give plenty of time for the beta test so we can make the most of that feedback.

It will come this year, 2021, but Blizzard has not announced the exact date.

Burning Crusade Classic will be the next big thing. Blizzard will hold a beta test before long, where players will be able to head back to Outland and provide feedback. At the current pace, TBC will come in May, which is a high probability. Let's wait and see.

In case you were still fuzzy on some of the critical issues, we will try to answer your questions.

Will my gold be removed, or is there any gold cap when advancing characters to Burning Crusade Classic Progression Realms?

No, your gold won't be removed. There are no plans to add any gold cap when transferring to Burning Crusade realms.

Blizzard allows players to amass high quantities of wow classic gold, which was a mixture of experience and willingness to put in time and effort, and he did not want to take that from anyone who thought ahead.

In my opinion, some players or guilds are potentially abusing this system to transfer massive amounts of gold or the expansion starting with an inflated economy, so its impact won't be small. We'll see if anything changes when TBC officially launches, but for now, your gold is coming with you!

What will happen to my characters if I choose to move them to an Era realm?

Characters on Era realms will continue to play in the Shadow of the Necropolis content update.

In my opinion, they will not be able to level up past level 60, go to Outland, play as Blood Elves, Draenei, or otherwise access any features available to players on Burning Crusade Classic Progression realms.

Can I move my characters from "Burning Crusade Classic Progression Realms" to "Classic Era Realms"?

I think the answer is NO. Once your characters advance to Burning Crusade Classic Progression Realms, you can no longer bring that characters back to Classic Era Realms, so choose wisely!

Blizzard Accidentally Released WoW Classic TBC Press Kit Before BlizzCon 2021

Blizzard has accidentally released WoW Classic TBC press kits before BlizzCon 2021. A full press kit was found on the official WoW site, sharing the World of Warcraft Classic TBC details.

image

As predicted, WoW TBC Classic will be coming out in 2021, but the press kit didn't specify exactly when it'll be released, so we look forward to getting more information during the live-streamed event (Feb 19-20th).

Wowhead shared this big news on his Twitter. Today MmoGah.com shares the news and personal opinion with World of Warcraft Classic fans. Some content of this article is quoted from the official WoW site.

In 2021, Blizzard Entertainment's recreation of the first World of Warcraft expansion will give players from around the world a chance to return to Outland as it once was to relive an era of a timeless adventure or experience what awaits beyond the Dark Portal for the first time.

Rediscover the Broken World of Outland

Flee the fel reavers who roam Hellfire Peninsula, dive deep beneath the swamps of Zangarmarsh to confront what lurks below, and clash with the demonic agents of the Burning Legion in the shadow of the Black Temple.

Join the Fight as a Blood Elf or Draenei

The ranks of the Horde and the Alliance grow! Fight for the Horde as the blood elves, seeking a new source of the arcane power that once sustained them, or join the Alliance as the Draenei, Exiles from Outland in search of a new home.

The Saga Unfolds Over Time

Content from the original game will roll out in phases, at a cadence paced for the WoW Classic community. Prepare for the opening of the Black Temple, gear up to confront the gods of Zul'Aman, and gather your allies to face the fury of the Sunwell.

Burning Crusade Features Reborn

Prove your prowess in the Arena PvP system, enhance your gear with the Jewelcrafting profession, take to the skies over Outland on flying mounts, choose whether to seek the aid of the Aldor or the Scryers of Shattrath and much more.

Choose Your Era

Prior to Burning Crusade Classic's release, WoW Classic players can decide whether to advance each of their characters to the Burning Crusade era with the rest of their realm or to continue playing the original WoW Classic content on the new Classic Era servers.

Included With Existing World of Warcraft Subscriptions

As with WoW Classic, anyone who subscribes to World of Warcraft can also play Burning Crusade Classic at no additional cost, giving players the freedom to enjoy multiple eras of Azeroth at their own pace.

Like the original WoW Classic, the newer TBC version will be a part of your regular WoW subscription. You won't be required to purchase TBC as an expansion.

Additionally, Current Classic servers will migrate to the Burning Crusade, but prior to the TBC Classic launch, players will get the opportunity to choose the characters they want to keep in the "Vanilla" version. Those characters will populate newly-created on WoW Classic servers.

Some questions have been troubling players:

1.    When will WoW Classic TBC launch? When will TBC Pre-Patch launch?

2.    When will Fresh Vanilla servers and Classic forever realms launch?

3.    Will Vanilla classic servers and TBC servers exist side by side?

4.    How do I start playing a character in "Classic" Burning Crusade?

Start a brand new character from level 1 on a new Burning Crusade server.

Start a new character from level 58 on a new Burning Crusade server.

Continue playing the current classic character on the existing server as it progresses to the Burning Crusade with an option to transfer to a Classic server that will never progress past level 60.

Continue playing the current classic character on the existing server that will never progress past level 60, with the option to transfer to a Burning Crusade server.

Do not worry. BlizzConline will start soon, and the above questions will likely be answered. Please pay attention to our classic wow news page to learn more updated news.

The Latest Leaks: WoW Classic TBC Pre-Patch and Fresh Vanilla Servers will Launch on April 20

WoW Classic TBC's release date has always been a hot topic among wow classic fans, but Blizzard has not officially announced it.

A month has passed since Nano and Staysafe covered the leaks. There's been someone claiming to work at Blizzard leaking the information about TBC. Everyone thinks he is a liar, but he is consistent and adamant. Here MmoGah.com would like to share his leaks with fans, and most of the content is quoted from this Reddit thread

I'm not advocating for these or claiming they're true, and I only want to provide a single compiled list that will mostly be confirmed or debunked this month during Blizzcon.

Server Information

All servers will be transitioned to TBC on May 4, 2021

All servers will get a Pre-Patch on April 20, which will unlock Draenei/Blood Elves and allow Shaman/Paladins to be leveled by the opposing faction prior to TBC server transition on May 4, 2021

Fresh Vanilla servers will launch on April 20, 2021

No plans for Fresh TBC servers

Classic forever realms will be released around launch, and you can pay to copy your character to these realms

Tokens and 60 Boosts will be added at some point during TBC's lifetime

Content Release Schedule

T4&T5 content will launch on May 42021

Black Temple/Mount Hyjal will launch in Nov 2021

Zul'Aman will launch in Feb 2022

SWP will launch in Aug/Sep 2022

The leaks are complete than before, and there should be more credibility than before.

Many players left their comments. Here I list some of them as below.

"I also don't believe anything posted by dubious sources, but this list is pretty much exactly what I want, minus giving paladins both of the exclusive seals.

I can play Fresh Vanilla servers and Classic forever realms since it's the best version in the game. I never have to move. It is replaying 70 for the fun fad. I wonder when the forever 60 realms will launch. Is it the same as classic launch or faster cycles? Also, is there no mention of PvP seasons? The honor gears are pretty impactful."

XxxxNateDaGreat said:

"Yeah, I don't see either of those happening. Never say never, but these are probably the biggest things that would piss off a majority of the classic community enough to go back to private servers."

Theyusedthelamppost said:

"You can consider the situation from Blizzard's point of view.

They want to release tokens and 60 boosts to make more money. The only thing stopping them is that it would cause a player outcry. So what's a logical way for them to handle it that minimizes the damage?

First, some "unconfirmed leaks" spread the idea that they could happen so that players can get the information without pissing them off too much. Anyone who doesn't like the idea can tell themselves that it isn't real (first stage of grief: denial).

Then players have a few weeks to sit on this discussion until Blizzard's announcement. When they announce that the 60 boosts are real, players won't feel too great a shock since the idea has circulated in players' heads for a while. The announcement is packaged with all the other details about TBC, highlighting their presentation to get players hyped up. This gradual strategy is an effective way to get players to accept a product they don't want to have."

Owarren said:

"If there is a fresh TBC server, as well as a continued from Classic one, all the players would stay where they are with their established community and existing character. The fresh TBC server would have a different kind of community, but it is not a bad thing, I guess. However, if they fully wiped for all TBC servers, loads of players would quit."

Seraphynas said:

"Classic forever" realms require you to transfer your character. That would split the players into three ways.

I would be shocked if Blizzard decided to split the population since they have already gotten several lower population servers. Splitting them further would make classic wither.

Also, why will the "classic forever" servers change to transfer servers? Why not leave the current classic servers, make TBC servers with one free transfer, and players should pay more, so Blizzard can make more money."

Darknecross said:

"The biggest thing about the T4/T5 in TBC is that PVP Arena is going to capture a massive portion of the gameplay loop for players, and season rewards are in lockstep with the tiers. So S1 with T4, S2 with T5, etc.

T5 geared players Zug through arenas while folks have no resilience from S1 gear will exacerbate the PvE for PvP anti-meta and perhaps even turn folks away from it permanently. Imagine playing against a T5 Warlock, and there's no resilience to reduce DoTs. I'd be OK with them stacking raid releases on the same PvP Season cadence, e.g., every 3-6 months."

Saucymarbles said:

"It's a start, but this content pacing is still insanely bad. All three tiers are available for releases within four months, and when will the Sunwell drop? Even if you have ZA to fill the gap, it is a raid that will exist purely for catchup gear and the mount, which doesn't exactly the same staying power as ZG does with the idols. I hope it doesn't turn out to be true."

CLYDEFR000G said:

"I don't understand why the leaks revealed Dranei and Blood Elves before TBC release. That is impossible. They would change their start zones to Troll/Orc and Gnome/Mage since the Dranei and Blood Elf zones won't be accessible. It just seems weird to me, and this is a simple solution if they are worried about people crashing the server."

Arkeez said:

"We need :

- Time gated raids, so T4 release is OK, not T5
- Fresh new TBC servers + Progressive ones
- Delayed Classic fresh servers (it would be awful to launch them in the same window as TBC)
- No token and no boost to 60
- Adjustments of faction imbalance
- Nerf of drums of battle
- Pre-nerf raids
- Original itemization (not 2.4.3)
- Original attunements (revered)
- AOE nerf release
- World buffs nerf and consumables revamp releases
- Gold and item restrictions for Classic characters to TBC
- Guild bank release
- No leeway and no spell batching.

Let's do this the right way, and Blizzard can do it."

Staysafe also shared his opinion in his video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzbP795BdCw

"I really hope this is not true, and I hope Tier 5 won't launch. That would be so bad. Would it be possible to get T5 raid gear? T6 comes out during arena season 1. When you're doing arena season 2, Black Temple and Mount Hyjal will launch in November 2021.

Zul'Aman will launch in Feb 2022, and SWP will launch in Aug/Sep 2022. There is no additional content during seven months, and you're just sitting there doing the content from the first day.

I know Tier 5 content will come back in one day. That's such a bad comparison, and it's a stupid thing to bring up. People did not get into T5 content too early, and half of the content was broken, and you couldn't even kill it. It took people a long time to get there and learn the attunements in Tier 4 content.

Fresh vanilla servers will launch on April 20, and they are going to launch one month before classic TBC servers. They should not do that, and that's so incredibly. I think they should launch fresh vanilla a couple of months later, maybe four or five months after TBC comes out.

No plans for fresh TBC service, and it means no 1 - 70 TBC servers. The only TBC servers are going to be 60 – 7. If this leak is to be believed, classic forever realms will be released around launch, you can pay to copy your character to these realms, and it's going to be a paid service to keep your character on. I think they should have classic forever realms where you can keep your current level 60 characters in stasis, a clone of them on a classic forever realms, and you can keep doing classic stuff. If you want to choose but have to pay to do that."

All in all, the above leaks are not confirmed by Blizzard, and they will be confirmed on Feb 19-20 during Blizzcon.
