Animal Crossing expands into new waters with a free update and paid expansion on Nov 5, which is the most significant patch to the game since its launch in March 2020. It includes a number of locations like the Roost, activities like cooking and stretching with villagers, new island customization through Island Ordinances, and plenty more. The free features include characters from the Animal Crossing series, such as the composed Brewster, who will open a cafe on the second floor of the museum, and the sea shanty singing Kapp’n, who will take you to different islands with his boat; newly opened shops in the plaza on Harv’s Island, including Katrina’s fortune-telling shop; the introduction of cooking and growing vegetables; and a host of other customizations and features.

 

Paid DLC

Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise launches on Nov. 5, and can be purchased for a one-time fee of $24.99. In this paid DLC, you’ll have the chance to join Lottie and the Paradise Planning team. In your new role, you’ll travel to a chain of charming islands where you can design vacation homes, decorate island facilities – like a school and a restaurant – and discover new ways to create and personalize as you gain experience designing dream vacation homes for your clients.

 

Something You Should Do

Upgrade Your Museum

You'll want to have the museum unlocked if you are planning on having Brewster on your island, and you'll want to have it at least upgraded to the first tier. The Roost or Brewster's cafe will be located inside of the museum on the second floor.

It is unclear if you will need the second update where you unlock the art display, but I'm sure that the first upgrade is good enough. I'm not exactly sure how Brewster will make his arrival on your island, but you can at least be prepared by having your museum up and ready.

 

Unlock Harvest Island

Not only will you need to upgrade your museum, but you will also need to unlock Harvest Island. This is pretty easy to do, and you just need to talk to Harvey when he comes to your island, and then you'll be able to visit Harvest island at no cost by going to the island airport and asking to fly somewhere. Harvest Island only has a photo studio right now where you can set up a building and take pictures inside. But with the new update, there will be a Plaza opening in the back of Harvest Island featuring NPCs like Harriet, Katrina, Tortimer, Kicks and many more, so you'll definitely want to have Harvest Island unlocked when the update drops as in that way you can get to work on the Plaza asap. The update also mentioned paying Bells as a way to bring vendors to the island so be prepared and have some Animal Crossing Bells  saved up if you're wanting to unlock this area as quick as possible.

 

Get Ready for Changes

There are new Animal Crossing Items and new villagers with this update so you are bound to make some big changes to your island whether that be decor or bring in new residents. Personally, I'm going to attempt to limit my decorating until the new update because it seems like there will be a ton of new items that I will definitely be using, and I don't want to have to go back and tear down anything I have built. In order to include the new items, I recommend doing the same if you feel overwhelmed by the idea of going back and redoing builds to incorporate the new things. There are new Fences, new Furniture, Gyroids and way more customization abilities like new home exteriors and even hairstyles. There are a lot of things that can change and probably will change on your island so I'm just saying be ready for that. You might have to kick a few villagers out because there will hopefully be a ton of new villagers coming to the game. I'll put some previews as follows, and you will probably end up wanting to invite at least one of the new villagers.

So be prepared and start planning on who you might want to leave your island. Basically, just accept that you're going to have a ton of work to do with the new update, and a ton of new things to try on your island. So don't get too settled with your current island and current residence unless you are completely restarting because you'll definitely want to be switching things up.

Best Spots to Buy New World House – Easy Travel for Endgame

Welcome to the New World house guide! Today, we are going to talk about three of the best spots to put your houses in strategically and where to put your Inn cooldown in the late game. The content comes from Sethphir’s video, and thank you, for the amazing guide.

Main Town/Brightwood

You basically have an option for the first house - you can have one in major town that you own for fast travel, or Brightwood.

 

If in major town, it doesn’t offer much, though it does give you some storage space with the storage chest. But it won’t cost you a lot, so you may want another house in another location – Brightwood.

 

While leveling, you probably want to have a home in Brightwood. Mine is very cheap, and it also gets you pretty much anywhere you want to go on the map, besides the starting towns. For most of the time, your faction will own one of these starting towns at least, so you will be able to teleport to whichever one your faction chooses, cheap and fast.

 

This is the house of mine in Brightwood.

 

 

It should be a 5k house, cheaper if this is your first time buying a house. It's right next to the town board and the war board, so it's a great placement. It is also the closest to Great Cleave and Edengrove, which will be places where you're going to be fast traveling for quests.

 

 

So I would recommend this 5k house until you figure out where you permanently want your houses at and while you save up money for those super big houses because they are expensive, like 20k or more.

 

Ebonscale Reach

The reason why you want to have a house here is because of these 65 portals that spawn in the area. It's kind of hard to get to, so complete them fast.

 

There's also another location called Imperial Palace, which is a very good farm spot, especially for cooking ingredients. If you want any tier 5 recipes, this is the place to go. There are massive provision crates, stockpiles, and also a bunch of high-level Elites, which is going to be part of your normal in-game farming route.

 

I bought this little green shack for 5000 New World Coins.

 

It's really cheap but nice. It doesn't have a lot of items that you can hold in it, but it's good for now until you figure out where you want to put your in-game house because it is going to be super expensive and you may want to migrate that on the area, but all you're after is this fast travel and then the five trophy slots because you need to fill up your house with the trophy slots so that you can get max proficiency boost.

 

Reekwater

Reekwater is one of the best in-game zones in the game. It actually includes three of the endgame content zones. My house in this area is directly right of the town board, so it's super quick if you want to sign up for any war or something.

 

One of the reasons why Reekwater is a good choice is that it has a food cart, where you will get rare cooking ingredients, like spices, seasoned blends and cooking oil, fish oil, all that stuff that's super hard to find. The second reason is what we have mentioned above, three in-game zones. The first one is Eternal Pool, which is the Protector’s Arena. The second one is going to be the Lazarus Instrumentality, which is the hardest dungeon in the game, and then the Siren Queen’s Lair.

 

There are also level 65 portals, so you will need to teleport there to get those quickly once the portals come online, and they're going to take a while to spawn. If you don't get there, then you can't get your Tuning Orb components and materials, so being able to get here quickly and for free is definitely going to help you out.

 

Do keep in mind that all these fast travels to the homes have no weight limit to their cost, so you can stock up on full stuff and then transfer back to your main town, for example, and load the material.

 

Best Inn Placement – Shattered Mountain

I strongly recommend you put your Inn in Mountainhome Outpost because it is the hardest part place in the game to get to - it's going to cost you a lot to fast travel up here, and there's no discount.

 

This is going to be your best teleport for in-game farming, and the reason is that the Scorched Mines is here, which has tons of Calcium, and it's also going to have level 64, 65 opponents in here that are going to give you the highest watermark gear drops. It's also close to Myrkgard, which is pretty much the highest level zone in the game, along with the Siren’s area, which also has 65 portals in it. And it also has a ton of level 65, even some 66 high-level monsters that will increase your watermark a lot, plus the basic portals that are just around the map, so you're going to need to get there and start farming those once everybody catches up to level 60 on your server and starts kicking into gear.

Summary

The house inside the zone is completely up to you. If you have a bunch of cash and you want your house to look cool, go for it, but for me, I bought the cheap homes on the strategic level just so that I can get the teleports that I need now until I really get into that housing stuff in the late game.

 

So this is going to be your best in-game setup, and keep in mind that it starts with your early game, like level 25, 30, in Brightwood, and then you can come to Reekwater and Ebonscale homes in the late game.

Obtaining Cloth Scraps & Carzacor Treasure Map Fragments

If you have a friend with you throughout this process, it would be helpful. If you are a solo, you can pick a style of AoE attacker, such as the Crusader or Barbarian, because you may need to lead a mob into a cluster of mobs to cull them for loot easily.

 

The cloth scrap sells for 40 Starseeds, whilst the Carcazor map fragment sells for about 110 Starseeds.

Diablo 2 Resurrected Rune is a kind of essential item. Finding high-level runes has become somewhat of a sport for Diablo 2 players, but they are difficult to find. Travincal: you can kill the Council Members in here. There are some decent rates of dropping high-level runes. Maybe they can drop to Zod.

 

Chaos: Chaos is a great place to have high-level runes. You are going to be killing many monsters here.

 

Arcane Sanctuary: Even though it’s less known, Arcane Sanctuary is indeed a great place for you to find high-level runes. Because ghosts have a limited drop pool, you will get a higher chance of dropping high-level runes by killing ghosts. The important thing is that you have to kill them while they’re standing on the path. Or they’re not going to drop items.

 

Lower Kurast: It’s a magic zone. After entering Lower Kurast, you can open all of the Chests, all of the Hollow Logs, especially the super two chests in the house , which is on the campfire left.They will drop lots of nice items, which gives you a higher chance to have high-level runes.

As adventurers of New World, we have always been expecting Amazon to roll out the function of New World Server Transfer as soon as possible, which can solve the current problem such as too long queues for games, players numbers on the servers being unbalanced and so on. Players also hope that through the server transfer function, they can jump into other worlds and can be in the same district with their friends.

Release Time

New World enabled server transfers in update 1.0.3, which released on October 20.

 

Amazon makes this process happen slowly, using an incremental approach. It first tested in the Utopia world in the AP Southeast region. It went well, so until now, at the time of this article’s publication, Amazon has announced US-East, Central Europe, and US-West all have server transfers available. But they still keep continuing to monitor. If no problems are found in the monitoring, the game will fully deploy character server transfers to the rest of the regions.

 

How to Transfer?

1.      Log into New World and after entering the menu, open up the Store.

2.      Click on the “World Transfer” tab at the bottom.

3.      Click on your free World Transfer token and purchase.

4.      Choose a new home world to join.

5.      Accept the transfer requirements and confirm.

6.      Your character will now move to the server you chose. Relog and get playing!

Noted:

Unfortunately, you can’t be able to transfer between regions; going between Europe and North America, for example.

 

You are allowed 1 free world transfer on your account. Once claimed, it will no longer be available on other characters.

 

Limitations During Your Transfer

You need to log into your character, which means waiting in any applicable queues.

You must be in a Sanctuary (Settlement. Outpost. Spirit, or Watchtower) before transferring.

You can not belong to a Company before transferring.

Best New World Weapon Combos for New World PvP

Today, we will go through five of the strongest combinations of New World weapons when it comes to build. Before we dive in, we want you to know MmoGah has New World Coins for sale. If you need any, we can be your best choice.

 

 

1.Great Axe - Hatchet

The first one is one of those most obvious combinations of weapons in the game - Great Axe and Hatchet. The damage and lunge on Great Axe are unbelievable.

 

So go to the Weapon Mastery and take a look at Great Axe. We have Reap that will actually extend your Axe 5 meters pulling foes to you and dealing 110% weapon damage, which is unbelievable. We also have Charge, which is going to give you an insane distance to catch up. And next, we have Gravity Well, which can give us a feeling of helplessness, and it is definitely one of the strongest abilities in the game right now. And that takes us to the ultimate ability, Blood Lust. It can make you move 30% faster and increase 15% more damage when you're looking at a foe within 15 meters, so that's going to be insanely strong.

 

For Hatchet, we have Berserk. It is going to make you insanely fast. And you're going to want Defy Death as well. It grants you the capability to avoid death upon receiving lethal damage. We also will take Feral Rush, for it is one of those attacks that do insane damage if you can actually hit it. It is going to be hard to hit the hatchet ability sometimes, as they will not be CC without the help of your Great Axe. Hatchet doesn't actually have any CC; it just has insane mobility and damage. And you can take Raging Torrent, but I usually skip out on it and go for an Axe throw. It's up to you as these are the two main abilities you can actually take whatever third ability you think sounds the best; it's really not a big deal.

 

2.Rapier, Bow and Spear

For Rapier, I'm going to be all about the Grace side, for this is going to be where you have the evade, which can dodge any ability, so if you're in a Gravity Well, you may want to save your evade until they come in with an auto-attack or another ability, then you can evade it, taking no damage.

 

For Bow, you're going to need the Evade Shot, Poison Shot, and the Penetrating Shot, which are all going to be very strong. I usually use my Penetrating Shot first, which will stumble the target, and then I use my Poison Shot. The Evade Shot also makes them stumble backward, so it's great against something like the Great Axe, Hatchet, for you're able to dodge backward with the Evade Shot, hit the Great Axe user in mid charge, and actually make them stumble.

 

Spear is another one that a lot of people like to use with this combo because the Bow is very strong with the Rapier, but if you're looking for that 1v1 damage, the Rapier is not always going to be the best option, so here comes the Spear. Let's see what Spear abilities you should be looking into. So, we have Javelin, which is going to make them get knocked down, and Sweep, which is going to sweep them off their legs. We also have Vault Kick; don’t use it on a target that has full stamina because you can get countered by a rapier riposte or even worse. So make sure to use your Spear abilities wisely; they are going to be a very strong combo.

 

3.Ice Gauntlet

The Ice Gauntlet is obviously one of the strongest due to the most CC to single targets in the game. All you have to do is throw up your ice storm and throw in auto attacks, and then you can CC anything in there constantly.

 

For combos, you can go with the Fire Staff. Fire Staff is a great option with the Ice Gauntlet, as you can actually do so much damage and so much CC. I would go Pillar of Fire, into a fireball, and then into a Burnout and a Rune of Helios as the ultimate ability, which places a 2 meter Rune on the ground, increasing your spell damage by 30% while standing in the Rune. This lasts for 7 seconds and a 30-second cooldown.

 

You have Burnout, which is another strong ability for distance mobility but also does a lot of AoE damage if you dive into the pile. Be careful as you can get stopped by a Sword and Shield user that just has their shield up. We also have Pillar of Fire, which is a great one to use. But when you are aiming uphill, it is hard to actually aim.

 

4.Great Axe – War Hammer

Let’s take a look at the abilities I'm currently running. Path of Destiny is going to be almost a must for everyone, and then we also have Shockwave. So if you're running in the open world and want to do CC, these are the two abilities you're always going to take. Another decent ability to take is Clear Out, which can knock out Life Staff users, or if you're in war, it's going to be able to knock people or tanks out of the point, which is going to be very strong. But we also have an ultimate ability called Aftershock, so whenever a target is affected by crowd control effects, it is slowed by 20% for 4 seconds. That is quite a long time, which is going to be a very strong ability to continue that kind of CC. So, first use Clear Out, then Shockwave on them and get a heavy attack on the back of them; you maybe use Path of Destiny before all of that to actually waste all of their stamina, so it's a great build for heavy CC.

 

5.Life Staff

Typically, the Life Staff with either the Hatchet or the Ice Gauntlet, or even Sword and Shield, is going to be one of the strongest combos.

 

If we go into the Life Staff, take Sacred Ground, and take either Divine Embrace or Beacon. There are a lot of people that kind of switch it up between Divine Embrace and Orb of Protection, or even Splash of Light. But I always see Sacred Ground and Beacon users for the most part because of how strong these abilities are.

 

Now next, let's bring out the Sword and Shield. You can take Shield Rush Shield Bash and Defiant Stance. You're never really going to die as you could sit there in your circle of health with going full heavy armor.

 

For Ice Gauntlet, you can try to use your abilities right, such as ice frost, to get rid of the ice on top of you. If that doesn’t work, you can go with Ice Tomb to get all of your mana back because you run out of mana on Life Staff occasionally, so you can then pop it, and it does do a little CC if they are right on top of your ice block. But then you have Ice Shower. Through this, you can just sit there but have the ability to heal allies across the map. So Ice Gauntlet, obviously with Life Staff, will be another one that I see as a top-tier combination of items.

 

Another one I see for early game and leveling is definitely going to be with Hatchet. That's because Hatchet does so much damage. So if you're looking to be a solo healer in this game, I typically see Life Staff and Hatchet combined together. This will be more of a PvE build, but it's also very strong in PvP because you have the undying perk, and you're not dead due to a 75-second cooldown on that and a 3-second timer, so you should be able to heal up. You also have berserk, by which you will be able to run so fast away or towards a fight that you may need to get to. There are a lot of benefits of the Life Staff and Hatchet build, but those are just a few.

PoE 3.16: Scourge Introduces Big Changes to the Base Game

On October 14, GGG revealed details about the Path of Exile's next expansion – Scourge. The new expansion will send you to a demonic, alternate Wraeclast and bring some goodies and changes to the core game.

Like all of Path of Exile's seasonal expansions and leagues, you will encounter an NPC who is pursued by unseen tormentors. She'll give you a demonic artifact called Blood Crucible and tell you to embed it in your body. 

 

The Crucible can be fueled with the blood of the monsters. It allows you to re-forge rare items into Corrupted versions. You can corrupt an item up to three times and, each time, it's a new tier of corruption more powerful than the last. If you get a good corruption that works for the item, you'll stop; if you get something bad, you try again for something more powerful.

 

 

With the new expansion, the Atlas of Worlds is undergoing huge changes as well. You will be able to place Atlas of Worlds maps into the Blood Crucible, making them more dangerous and more rewarding. This system allows you to determine the level of challenge you want to take on in Scourged's endgame.

 

Grinding Gear Games is also adding a whole bundle of extra tough Uber challenges. Breach, Blight, Legion, and Delirium will all have optional ultra-hard versions that ramp up both the difficulty level and the potential rewards earned for completing them.

 

GGG will also rework the game's complex passive skill tree and add a Passive Mastery System. The system will dramatically change the way the passives work, and there'll be fewer skill points spent on reaching cool perks and more on notably upgrading your character.

WoW TBC Hallow's End Guide - Mounts, Loot, and Quests

WoW TBC Hallow's End is right around the corner, starting on Oct 18 lasting until Nov 1, so all gamers will have two weeks to get all the amazing items. They will complete quests, dress up in various costumes, get candies, and ultimately challenge Headless Horseman!

Here MmoGah.com would like to share some messages with you. Here's everything you need to know about TBC Hallow's End.

Headless Horseman

To get started, you can pick up a new quest called Headless Horseman and have a chance to get a really good epic loot and mount in TBC. It can be picked up in either Goldshire, Kharanos, and Azure Watch for the alliance or Razor Hill, Brill, and Falconwing Square for the horde.

You can only summon Headless Horseman once a day and get five attempts each day. If each group member has his quest available once you arrive at the Scarlet Monastery Graveyard, you can summon Headless Horseman. This quest is fairly simple, and you have to go and kill the boss - Headless Horseman.

 

Headless Horseman Loot

There are some loot/items that will drop from Headless Horseman (as the image below showed).

The Horseman's Helm is a nice plate helm with a nice 30-second cooldown. It's kind of fun. Three epic rings are powerful for casters, healers, melee, and ranged DPS. Sinister Squashing & Hallowed Helm and the incredibly rare Horseman's Reigns will also drop. This mount is a regular epic ground mount. It's everything you've ever wanted. The Horseman's Blade will also drop, and it's the same as Spiteblade. Moreover, you can summon Pumpkin Soldiers from The Horseman's Blade, but the big downside is that it is the main hand weapon, so you can't use it with weapons, such as Dragonmaw.

There are also consumable and seasonal items that disappear at the End of Hallow's End, such as Magic Broom and Weighted Jack-o'-Lantern.

New World Drops

There will also be two new bags: Pumpkin Bag (a 16 Slot Bag) and Jack-o'-Lantern, which is an 18 Slot Bag, which will only drop during the Hallow's End event. Jack-o'-Lantern will be dropped from all mobs of level 60 plus and has a pretty low drop rate, and Pumpkin Bag will be dropped from all mobs of level 50 plus.

 

Trick or Treating

Hallow's End wouldn't be complete without Trick or Treating. You can get a treat ranging from Masks, Wands, or Candy, which restores a percentage of your health, so it's actually useful at any level, or you can get tricky, being turned into a Frog, Snake, Ghost, Skeleton.

 

Hallow's End Quests

You can also grab Handfuls of Candy from candy buckets you find everywhere or do many seasonal quests, such as Hallow's End Treats for Jesper or Spoops. Depending on your faction to do this quest, you'll need to gather treats by doing different emotes at four major cities.

There are some quests for putting out Fire Training, Rotten Eggs in the brew, Stinking up Southshore, and Crashing the Wickerman Festival. The rewards for each of these quests are Hallow's End Pumpkin Treats.

 

Hallow's End Pumpkin Treat

These treats are actually nifty candies, transforming you into a skeleton, a pirate, or a ghost. It can also increase your size and give you a hint of orange throughout your body.

 

Wickerman Ceremony

The last big part of Hallow's End is Wickerman Ceremony, going on outside of the undercity. Horde players can go there and loot a Wickerman ember after 8 pm server time. Invocation of the Wickerman increases health and mana regeneration by 25% and stamina by 25%, which is a petty awesome buff. If alliance players want to get this buff, they'll need to kill a Wickerman Guardian. They are level 60 elites. If you're arranged, you can kite them to a log about 20 meters south of the Wickerman, and then you can jump on and off the log to kill them easily.

Breaking Brick Mountains Event in FFXIV

There is a collaboration event- Breaking Brick Mountains coming in Final Fantasy XIV on October 19, and there are event items that you might want to get.

 

 

 

 

This event is the same as in 2014, 2017, and 2020. If you made progress during a previous iteration, you may continue from where you left off. You can check your Journal to determine your current quest progress. If you did not attend any of the former events, this is your chance to participate in it and get the rewards.

The Seasonal Event Replay Feature

 

You can play past events again via the Seasonal Event Replay feature. This feature is available to players who completed the event in the past or completed it for the first time during this event.

 

If you have completed the "Breaking Brick Mountains" quest, speak to Havak Alvak to make use of the Seasonal Event Replay feature. Once you use the feature, the quest will be treated as incomplete, allowing you to play it again:

 

If you have completed the quest, but one of your friends has not, you can use the replay feature to play with your friend. Otherwise, there is no need to replay it because you can not obtain the rewards more than once.

 

 

 

 

Lastly

 

If you are too busy with other things and don’t have the time to do the event, you can go to MmoGah for FFXIV Power Leveling, and then they will do the event and get all the event items for you.

New World Coins Making with Adderstone

Today, MmoGah would like to share how to make more New World Coins in New World by setting up an adderstone sliver farm and selling it to make absolute bank.

 

Requirements

We're going to be farming at a stone. Now what we need to do for this farm is have a good place for non-stop mine. All the gear you have will increase your chances of getting rare items while mining. I have about 16% on my gear, but you can get much higher than that. Also, Mining Luck Trophy is pretty much required. They're not that expensive, but if you know anybody with 75 furnishings, you can get them to make it for you. And you need to have mining luck increased food. For specifically this guide, I'm assuming that you have Herb-roasted Potatoes unlocked at 17 cooking, and nothing better than that.

I'm going to explain how to get all the ingredients for these and make them in a second because I don't want you to give up on this farm just because you don't want to make this food. The first thing we need to do is make sure we have Herb-roasted Potatoes.

To make them, you need Honey, which you can get from a Beehive in any town, and butter, which you can get from milking a cow in any town. And you can get potatoes from the farm next to any town, but we're going to use First Light because Cinnamon is right next to the town in First Light, and this makes it easy to do in one area. So what you want to do is farm Herb Bushes around this area in First Light and farm potatoes around this area in First Light.

Every potato and cinnamon you get will need you to spend 25 minutes on the farm, so you really don't need to collect that many. Once you've collected all the ingredients, you can make them at a level 4 kitchen.

 

Method

Now let's get into the farm. You can farm Boulders anywhere, but one of my friends has suggested this amazing place (as shown in the picture below) to do this well so you can just go up in circles over and over again, and it spawns every time you finish the circle. It's just an efficient way, and you can do it anywhere, though, if you really don't want to do it here, but you might just lose out a little bit on efficiency and New World Gold per hour.

This location is about one minute walk from Windsward, and all you do is walk around in circles.

Then take these rocks up here, and then these rocks down here.

Of course, take all the little rocks in between as well. By the time you finish all the rocks, the first ones would have spawned again. If you find yourself finishing the rocks too fast for them to spawn, you may be able to grab more rocks and go down the slope a little bit. If they go wrong, just relog, and they'll spawn back in.

Once you have the sliver of adderstone, do not sell it on the auction house. You should be aware of the auction house prices and what people are selling it for in your server if they're doing it in chat, and sell it in chat instead. In this way, you do not have to pay taxes on the trade, and you're likely to get a higher value instead of flooding the market. From experience, every about four thousand stones, I get one out of stone sliver, and I've been selling them for about 4 to 5K on my server. I understand these prices are different on every server. I've seen my friends' servers have very different prices, so you can earn anywhere between 1 and 10k per hour from these prices. While selling in chat, the maximum amount of time I've had to sit there selling a sliver of adderstone 4 is about one minute. They sell so quickly for so much money, so good luck, and I hope you make as many as you can before other people start flooding the market.
